Accepting Commissions for 2024

Process:

  1. Tell me about the project by emailing me at jqart888@gmail.com.

  2. Once you receive the estimate, you will need to reserve a commission spot on the calendar with a 50% deposit down.

  3. Typically, within 2 weeks of the deposit being paid, you will receive an illustrated mockup of your art and, if needed, will have time for two revisions. Once the mockup has been approved, it will take roughly 4-8 weeks to complete your painting.

  4. Once the painting is complete the remaining 50% balance is due. If you are located outside of the Los Angeles area, you will be billed for shipping separately and be provided with a tracking number. The shipping cost will be calculated once the piece is finished.

Payment:
An invoice with a payment link will be emailed to you. A 50% deposit will be due upfront, and the final 50% payment (along with shipping) will be due once the painting is completed and prior to delivery.

Shipping:
Shipping will be billed once the painting is completed. Please note that all paintings over 30" typically need to be shipped unstretched and rolled in a tube. If you ordered a larger painting and don’t want it unstretched, we can explore different delivery options for you.

Returns or Cancellations:
All sales are final. If for any reason I am unable to start your commission, you will receive a full refund. If you have paid your deposit and choose to not proceed with the artwork, the deposit will not be refunded.

Usage/Copyright:
I reserve the full rights to the image and its use/distribution unless otherwise agreed upon. The following is considered copyright infringement:

  • Reproducing/using the copyrighted artwork commercially (print, t-shirts, etc...any method where you can make money).

  • Claiming the artwork as your own.

  • Removing my signature from the artwork.

  • Altering the artwork without my consent.
